The East Arkansas Community College Foundation recently received a generous donation to fund the upcoming 2010-2011 Family Series of productions scheduled in the EACC Fine Arts Center. Chris and Ginger Quinn and Carey and Anita Vandiver, all of Forrest City, made the donation in support of the Series of entertainment for children and their parents.
“This donation allows us to provide high quality performances that are designed to advance and enrich the lives of the children in the Arkansas Delta,” said Carla Nimocks, EACC Foundation Chair. “The generosity of the Quinns and the Vandivers enables EACC to provide venues for children that were formerly available only in large metropolitan areas.”
“We’re so excited and grateful for this opportunity to offer this Series in the wonderful Fine Arts Center,” said Beth Bridgforth, EACC Director of Special Projects. “Gifts such as these will set the stage to expose schoolchildren from eastern Arkansas to the excitement and wonder of the world of entertainment.”
