Mallory and Carla Morehead Nimocks, in conjunction with Nimocks Oil Company, established the Nimocks Oil Company Scholarship for area high school students who are enrolled in concurrent credit courses at EACC. Concurrent enrollment is the enrollment of a qualified high school student in post secondary education for high school credit and college-level credit.
Through this scholarship, Nimocks Oil Company is dedicated to furthering the educational endeavors of those students in the EACC service area who attend Forrest City High School, Lee Senior High School, Brinkley High School, Wynne High School, Cross County High School, Palestine/Wheatley High School and Lee Academy in Marianna. The NOC Scholarship is designed to offer high school students an opportunity to earn credit towards their high school graduation while earning college credit as well.
“EACC as a leader in providing educational opportunities for students in eastern Arkansas,” said Carla Nimocks. “The College enhances the quality of life for everyone in the region and Nimocks Oil Company is proud to be able to offer the NOC scholarship to deserving students.”
