On Monday, June 13th, East Arkansas Community College will host the Sixth Annual EACC Golf Tournament at the beautiful 18-hole course at the Forrest City Country Club to benefit the EACC Foundation.
The Co-Sponsors for the tournament are Boar’s Head, Core-Mark, and Forrest City Medical Center. Hole sponsorships are currently available.
“We are grateful to our sponsors and players who make this annual tournament possible,” said Dr. Coy Grace, EACC President. “We have been very appreciative for the past support from many regional and local businesses, and players who come out for a great day of golf. This year, we hope golfers and those who enjoy golf will join us again for this great event,” said Grace.
The tournament will follow a 4-person scramble format. Entrants in the tournament may form their own teams or enter individually. Single entries will be assigned to a team and teams will be flighted after the round. The number of flights will be determined by the number of entries. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each flight.
A lunch buffet with all the trimmings will be provided and check-in for players will begin at 11:30 a.m. The shotgun start begins at 1:00 p.m. The entry fee for players will be $100 for each player or $400 for each team of four payable to the EACC Foundation. All entries should be mailed to the EACC Foundation C/O Niki Jones at 1700 Newcastle Road, Forrest City, AR 72335 or they may be dropped off at the EACC Fine Arts Center. To ensure a tee time, register by Friday, June 3rd. Forms are available at area golf courses and on the EACC website.
