EACC will offer a variety of online courses during a special Winter Intersession term. The special term will begin Monday, December 16th and run through Wednesday, January 8th.
Anatomy and Physiology 1 (BIO 2114 98)
This course is designed to give students a functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Emphasis is placed on the norm but reference to an explanation of some pathologies is included. This course will cover several of the human body's major anatomical systems and implications in health. *Arkansas Course Transfer System Equivalent Course Number is BIOL 2404.
College Algebra (MTH 1113 98)
This course includes a study of functions including, but not limited to, absolute value, quadratic, polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and exponential functions as well as systems of equations and matrices. *Arkansas Course Transfer System Equivalent Course Number is MATH 1103.
Medical Terminology (HSC 1003 98)
This course provides students with the basic knowledge of medical language for them to recognize and understand medical terms. Prefixes, suffices, and root words are covered to provide a basis from which the student may build or recognize new medical terminology.
American Government
This course is an introduction to the constitutional framework of American government. The U.S. Constitution is studied in detail in relation to the basic principles, structure, processes, and functions of the United States federal government and other related political activities. *Arkansas Course Transfer System Equivalent Course Number is PSYC 1103.
