The Community Education and Workforce Training programs at UAEACC announce the Spring Schedule of classes for students of all ages.
The schedule offers a wide variety of unique Personal Interest, Personal Development, and other specialty classes including: Arkansas Severe Weather Awareness, AR Concealed Carry, AR Enhanced Concealed Carry, Canning for Beginners, Ballroom Dancing, Sip and Paint Night, Delta Dragon Mahj Club, Normandy to Eagle's Nest, Ballroom Dancing, Beginning Crochet, Mindful Meditation, Smoking Perfection: Mastering Pork Back Ribs, Metal Masterpieces: Welding Art for Beginners, Beginning Sign Language, Applied Piano, Applied Guitar, Intro to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Intro to Computers, Pottery, Watercolor, Pastel/Colored Pencil, Conditioning, Yoga, Water Aerobics, and more.
The Spring Tours schedule will feature the annual African American Heritage Tour to the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock on Friday February 21st. A tour to James Hayes' Glass Art Studio in Pine Bluff is also scheduled for Friday, April 4th.
The Workforce Training and Professional Development schedule of classes includes: Healthcare Provider CPR, HeartSaver CPR. Stop the Bleed, EMT Refresher, ServSafe Manager Certification, Heavy Equipment Operation, EPA 608 Certification, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Lockout/Tagout Safety, Class B CDL Bus Training, CDL Refresher Training, CDL Written Exam Permit Prep, Welding Basics, as well as other customizable courses.
The Kids on Campus programs include: Gymnastics (Ages 3+) and Slammin' Jammin' Guitar Lessons offered in Forrest City and Wynne.
