Nursing is a profession incorporating knowledge and principles of the humanities and sciences. Nurses function independently of, dependently on, and interdependently with other health care providers to assist individuals and their families in meeting health care needs and achieving an optimal level of functioning in a racially, culturally, and ethnically diverse community. Nursing practices are based on standards and legal and ethical considerations formulated by the profession and implemented through the nursing process. Nursing encourages a holistic, interactive approach requiring a commitment to the value of caring, communication, collaboration, theoretical knowledge, critical thinking and clinical competence for implementation of the nursing process. After completion of the program, students are awarded an Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing and are eligible to take the NCLEX. After successfully passing the NCLEX, graduates become registered nurses and obtain the credentials of RN. EACC's Registered Nursing program uses a competitive admissions process. HESI A2 Exam Dates: The exam will be available starting February 5th -May 2th, 2024
The HESI A2 Exam can be taken in person at the Forrest City EACC campus inside the Student Welcome Center building Monday thru Thursday at 8am, 11am, or 1pm. Once started you have 4 hours to complete the exam. The HESI A2 Exam may be taken TWICE during an application cycle. The test cost approx. $70 per attempt. Please be prepared to pay the exam fee on your scheduled exam day Please be prepared Please call Tabitha Thomas at (870)633-4480 ext. 408 to set up an appointment to take the HESI A2. HESI A2 testing is also available at EACC Wynne campus. |
